This A6 card has a “Happy Birthday to a Special Friend” message on the front, and comes with a floral fused glass detachable keepsake/ suncatcher. So as well as giving a card, the recipient is also receiving a lovely glass gift. There are various colour options to choose from.
The glass is approx 6.5cm x 5.5cm and hangs from a satin ribbon. It’s attached with a removable glue dot, to a heavyweight white card measuring 10.5cm x 15cm. The inside of the card has been left blank for you to write your own message.
It comes with a white envelope and a biodegradable cello bag. I use recyclable / compostable and eco friendly packaging whenever possible.
The glass is cut and decorated by me into a floral meadow or thistle design, using coloured glass fragments, tiny glass flowers and coloured enamel. These are then fused together at high temperatures in my kiln for many hours, when it’s finally finished, you have a beautiful 3D glass floral keepsake.
As these keepsakes are made of glass, I highly recommend that, if posting the card, you post them in a padded envelope/box for added protection.
I encourage anyone posting the card to reuse my packaging if possible, and I enclose a blank label to make this easier for you.
As these are all handmade, I never make two the same, each one is unique and will vary slightly from the photograph. I have tried to photograph as naturally as possible. The colours may slightly vary depending on the device they are viewed on.
